Jess has an amazing way of igniting energy within the class whilst still being able to soothe you through the more pretzel-ly positions.
Her class approach is centred around active flexibility so you build strength and protect your muscles as you work towards your flexy goals. But more importantly, she takes a personal interest in you and understands that all our bodies and stretch journeys are beautifully different. "I have always had issues with spinal mobility and hip flexor flexibility. In the past I have done static stretching on my hips, and made small gains, but was always totally lost on how to really improve to the extent I wanted. I always felt like my back flexibility was virtually a lost cause, and I really had no idea where or how to train it safely and effectively.
I have been working with Jess since August 2021, and since then I have made huge gains in my back and hip flexibility!

Unlocking Flexibility Without Pain
“I have been training with Jess for 6 months and the improvements I have seen in my flexibility have been amazing.
She is very trustworthy, so when doing something new I have never felt like anything would go wrong.
When I was younger I pulled my left hamstring and have never fully recovered from it. Then I trained with Jess, and today I can do the splits, left (injured) leg forward, and not feel any pain or discomfort!
Her private lessons are wonderful and are where I showed my most growth in understanding my body and how to unlock mobility and flexibility.

Life-Changing Flexibility Training
“When I first started flexibility classes with Jess, she asked me if I had any bendy goals I’d like to achieve. ‘I want to be able to do a really flat forward fold,’ I replied.
‘Okay, I was thinking something a bit bigger,’ she said. ‘What about a walkover?’
I think this brief exchange encapsulates exactly what my experience stretching with Jess has been. Taking her classes has been so much more than a chance for me to improve my flexibility, it’s been a period of personal growth. Throughout the last year and a half of taking classes, I have developed a greater awareness of how my body operates. I have become stronger and more flexible than I ever thought was possible. At times where I think I am working at my limit, Jess will carefully guide me to the next level and further my own understanding of my body’s capabilities.

Pain-Free Back Bend Progress!
“I am loving the online classes with Jess!
When I was younger, I wanted to be a contortionist! I would bend and bend, and mimic photos I had seen of contortionists in circus acts. But this just led to pain and injuries.
​
Jess guides us through proper warm ups, and focuses on correct technique for flexibility. With her style of teaching, I've learnt how to both protect and strengthen my back, while working towards that beautiful backbend curve rather than “folding” into the lower back.

I have been training splits for over 4 years and could never get close to the ground or get into my splits with ease. Your conditioning and activation program is amazing. I can feel my splits are stronger.

Her joyful and loving spirit alone makes you want to push harder. The magic comes in with the way she assists, so gently and waving her hand over your body parts and they magically bend or stretch farther than you could have imagined in a session. I don't come from any sort of gymnastics background.
